Closest Word — account and data deletion

In the app (instant)

Open Settings → Online → Delete my online data and confirm. This deletes your anonymous guest account and everything linked to it on our servers: Daily results, nickname, friend challenges, duel rooms and technical counters.

Without the app

Your guest account contains no name or contact details, and it is deleted automatically after 180 days without activity. To remove it sooner, email closestword.app@gmail.com with your nickname (if you set one) and we will delete that account within 30 days.

What is not on our servers

Game history, coins, streaks and settings live only on your device and are removed when you uninstall the game. Purchase records are kept by Google Play under its own rules.
